Bunny
2001 mare

Bunny was Chris and Thomas' Father's Day present to Jeff.  We had searched long and hard for a mare like her, and finally found her in the summer of 2003.  I had seen over 1000!!! gypsy horse mares and hadn't found just the right one to 'fill the shoes' of Bunny until that time.  Bunny is 15.2 hands at two years old, so will make 15.3 or maybe even 16 hands when she's finished.  She's wonderfully built, and has plenty of feather and type, and she also has one fabulous feature that I have searched far and wide for.  She's Homozygous (tested and confirmed)!  She's big, has tremendous gypsy horse type and quality, and she will ALWAYS produce color, no matter what she is bred to!  I have seen dozens of homozygous gypsy horse mares over the years, but hadn't found one with the size, type, and quality of Bunny!  We are thrilled to be able to add her to our herd!  She hasn't had a proper "photo shoot" yet, but here are a few pictures of Bunny when she was in England.  She wasn't 2 years old yet in these pictures.  You can see she has an amazing mane and tail, and wonderful feather (although very dirty)!

New picture, Sept 05 - Bunny and her 05 Filly (by The Lion King), "Jackie".  A pretty pair!

In this silly picture, Bunny demonstrates how to *almost* remove a forgotten halter.  This is how I first met her.  She's quite a character.  You can see from this picture how she got her name as well!

Still with her halter funny.  We fixed it just afterward.

All fixed!  That's MUCH better!
