Nobby (the
one and only!)
9 year old world famous, proven
stallion
"Nobby" as he is
affectionately known by the family that bred him, is a culmination of most of
the best gypsy horse blood that there has ever been. The Vines family has bred for this horse for generations,
with him being the culmination of a lifetime of their best efforts. He is
not some colt someone picked up for a good price, or a stallion that they had
for a couple of seasons and sold on; this horse is the product of an
incredibly honed, tried and tested breeding program that is one of the best
known breeding programs for this type of horse in the world. He's as
proven as proven gets, with fillies and colts that are incredibly in demand on
both sides of "The Pond".

Nobby is 14.1 - 2
hands tall (traditional size), and has amazing feather, with clean, chiseled
joints and bone. He has the ideal head for a "sweet" type gypsy cob, and
he leaves that in his foals (if you have a look thru this site to see many of
his fabulous babies he has produced, you will see that he really reproduces
himself in type). His disposition cannot be beat, this horse is the
"poster child" for the gentle and docile gypsy horse disposition. Nobby is
by the incredibly famous horse known as "The Lottery" who's name came about
because "having his foals is like winning the Lottery" (incidentally,
"the Lottery" recently sold in England for an unreported sum, BUT, we do know
that 'the deal' included a new SUV, a £20,000 filly (that's pounds, which
is OVER $36,000 US Dollars), AND an amount of cash). Nobby is about the
best example of Lottery foals, and he has become known for being the same way as his sire,
producing foals that are like winning the lottery.
If you haven't heard
of "Nobby", you will!
Nobby
belongs to a client of ours, and stands at stud on our farm. He is
available for the 2008 breeding season for a stud fee of $2500.00 with a
$500.00 booking fee. He is being offered for on-farm breeding, but
if you must have chilled, shipped semen, give us a call.

Perfect Head, Perfect Neck, Perfect legs, Perfect color, Perfect feather,
Perfect movement... As close to Perfect as I know.
(Incidentally, in close to 250,000 photos, I think this is one of my favorite
gypsy horse pictures that I have ever taken!)
