The Rocky Mountain Horse Expo , March, 2005.
Denver, Colorado

At the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo. It's not every day (or night, in
this case) in the USA that you get to see a pair of mares hooked up in
traditional gypsy fashion (the second mare, Babydoll, is hooked on as a
"sideliner", they are not hooked as a team). We do this once in a
while for special occasions! On this occasion, we were a part of
the Expo's evening performance show.

The busy "gypsy camp". Horses, wagons, people, never a dull
moment!

"The Gang's all here!" Our early breed demo. Not many people
here, but most of them were behind the camera in the stands. The
later breed demos had more people to love the gypsy horses. Left
to right we have Jeff driving Babydoll on the flatcart, Niece Catie
riding Dinah, Niece Christian holding the gelding Snyder, Gary Smith (in
Blue) holding their good filly Hope, the colts Kilty, Kenny (held by
friend Jim Steffon), and Jeremy (held by Marie Harrity, Hope's "mom").
in the back.

Babydoll on the cart, after doing her trips to the 7-11 store and back
for refreshments. She was our taxi service at this show.
That's Hope, belonging to Marie Harrity and Gary Smith, who went along
for the drive thru town.

Babydoll, she's just too cute!

Our big Breyer model shire horse Gracie got to come out of retirement
for this expo. She was a celebrity horse at the event, being on
display with her Breyer Model. See the
Breyerfest '03 page for all the details on that. That's Dinah
on the right, she and big Gracie are good buds.
