- NEWS! August 2006 - The Ohio Gypsy Horse show run by the Gypsy Vanner
Association has just been completed. There were somewhere between 30 and 40
horses shown, and BFSGH horses took top honors again this year (grand and
reserve champ mares last year were both from BFSGH). This year, Grand and
Reserve champion mares places were again filled by BFSGH horses, both with
yearling fillies (beating dozens of older horses!) The Grand Champion mare,
called "Lion Queen" is a home-bred yearling filly from Babydoll and Lion King.
Lion Queen was also reserve Best in Show, (placing under a mature stallion).
The top 3 horses (out of a class of 7) in the 2 and under fillies class all
came from BFSGH, and the reserve Grand Champion stallion was a yearling colt
imported in utero by BFSGH, a grandson to the Lottery Horse. BFSGH horses
filled out the top of numerous other classes as well, but the accomplishments
are too numerous to list individually. In the drum horses division BFSGH
horses also excelled, with the winning under saddle drum horse coming from our
farm! Huge kudos and congrats to all who got out and showed their gypsy horses
under the warm midwestern sun, and a big-ole-yippee! to those who placed so
well!
- NEWS! August 2006 - BFSGH will again be participating in the Tournament of

(and another dozen or so coming in during the week before the show!), so it's
a great time to come out and browse our selection, and come to the show! You
could even show your new horse at the show that weekend, as the show accepts

the event. Check out the "Events Page" for pictures and details of our
