"The Governor"
aka - Stallion by the good mare, "Spot"
Please pardon the terrible mud in these pictures. It's been a normal, WET
spring in England. Also note, this boy has a funny haircut. He is
clipped everywhere on the body but the top of the back, and his rump.

WOW. This
stallion is an incredible looker. He is just breathtaking. His
disposition is that of a lamb, he is such a gentleman! He's broke to drive
(see pictures) and is nearly unflappable. The rickety old cart fell over a
couple times while he was pulling it thru the mud bogs, and he just waited til
his driver collected the cart pieces and put them back on, to continue the drive
:>) That's a disposition for you!
If you want to "stop traffic", just drive this boy down the road one
Sunday afternoon and watch the heads turn.
This stallion is about 14.2 hands high (no less), and is very heavy. His hair can't be beat, and he moves like a dream! He's 5 years old, and has had a few seasons of GOOD foals under his belt. This boy is Piebald (black and white) but does have some roaning in his flank area. He has a partial blue eye on the right side. Contrary to some beliefs, blue eyes are NOT looked down on by the majority of gypsies, especially those that are horsemen enough to know that it makes no difference in the horse. Some of the best breeders of these horses PREFER a blue eye or 2 on most of their horses. Don't let the people who don't spend much time with the gypsies tell you otherwise.
Another note about
this horse: Jim, who's expertise in breeding these colored cobs we respect
greatly, considers this stallion good enough to breed to his best mares.
There aren't many stallions out there that have earned this honor. NOTE: If you would like a
vet-check on this (or any of the horses), let us know. Cost is $300 for a
second level inspection, which includes basic soundness and health. We can
also have a fertility test done on any stallion for an additional $700, which
includes transport to the collection farm.

Front legs (can you say HAIR!), and hind legs, very correct.

This one was taken
after the drive thru the mud, so his hair isn't as pretty
