Bill and Ben
Bill and Ben are a couple of neat black and white 3 year old geldings. They are 3/4 shire, their moms are registered shire mares, and their sire is a half-shire colored horse. Bill is right at 15.3 hands now, Ben is about 16.1 hands. They will make an inch more or so, and will fill out and be big boys. Ben still looks pretty lanky, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he makes 16.3 hands. Bill's mom is about 17.1 hands, Ben's mom is a HUGE, full 18 hand mare (true 18 hand mares are very rare, but this mare is a true big-un). Ben is a bit taller and leggier than Bill, but Bill has more bone and mass to him, and more hair. If you are looking for a leggier riding horse Ben would be it, but if you want a very traditional heavy boned drum type horse, Bill is your man. Bill and Ben are friendly and inquisitive, and are currently in training for riding. Price for either thru NY quarantine: $13,000, or $25,000 for the pair.
