BF Bonny Lass and BF Gypsy Rose
2000 Fillies

Bonny and Rosie chose us!  We went to look at a field of mares that our friend Jim had in his herd, and all we got to see were the noses of Rosie and Bonny.  These girls were about 18 months old at the time, and really wanted to come to America.  After sorting out all of the horses in the field, we learned that Rosie was a full sister to Jim's most prized mare, Young Rose (see below), and that Bonny was from the nice big mare that we liked.  After we finally got them to go away long enough for us to look at their full bodies (instead of just their noses!), we saw that they were both beautifully conformed.  It was an easy decision at that point, and Rosie and Bonny were chosen to come to the US to be our own.

Not-so-clean, fuzzy pictures of the gals.  We will get some better pictures when it warms up.  February is not a good time of year to be bathing horses here in Colorado!

Bonny filly at 20 months old, just after arriving in Colorado in Feb, 2002.  Already full of bone and feather.  Bonny will mature to over 15 hands.  Can you say personality?
Those that have been following the horses that we have found for sale in the UK will not remember seeing Bonny in the pictures of available horses.  She was ours from the first moment we laid eyes on her.  No need to put any pictures on the site and get anyone else's hopes up that they could have this wonderful gal.  We HAD to have her.

My beautiful Rosie girl pictured at about 19 months of age, just after arriving home in Colorado.  A body that won't quit, and the blood that I have only dreamed of up to this point.  We have pictures of 4 generations of this prized bloodline.  We can't wait to see how this filly matures.  This is the sweetest girl you would ever hope to meet.  What a doll.
She was, like Bonny, "not for sale"  to anyone else when we first met her as well.  It was love at first site.
We can't express how happy we are to have Rosie and Bonny as breeding stock for our herd of these marvelous horses.

Young Rose, Jim's most prized mare.  This mare is the best we have ever seen, anywhere.
Our filly Rosie is a full sister to her.  Young Rose and her spectacular 2001 filly are now proudly owned by Wendy R. in Florida.  There are more pictures of Rose and her Filly on their page.

Sire of both of our beautiful fillies

Bonny or Rosie (or their relatives) look like just what you are looking for in a colored cob?  Better talk to Jeff, it will be tough to get one of these gals from him.  It was a love affair that started upon their first meeting, and it's not likely to soon end.  If you can't live without one of them, we might talk, but we would prefer to find you a gypsy horse much like them instead of giving one of these gals up.
