Bonny and Rosie chose us! We went to look at a field of mares that our friend Jim had in his herd, and all we got to see were the noses of Rosie and Bonny. These girls were about 18 months old at the time, and really wanted to come to America. After sorting out all of the horses in the field, we learned that Rosie was a full sister to Jim's most prized mare, Young Rose (see below), and that Bonny was from the nice big mare that we liked. After we finally got them to go away long enough for us to look at their full bodies (instead of just their noses!), we saw that they were both beautifully conformed. It was an easy decision at that point, and Rosie and Bonny were chosen to come to the US to be our own.

Bonny or Rosie (or their relatives) look like just what you are looking for in a colored cob? Better talk to Jeff, it will be tough to get one of these gals from him. It was a love affair that started upon their first meeting, and it's not likely to soon end. If you can't live without one of them, we might talk, but we would prefer to find you a gypsy horse much like them instead of giving one of these gals up.
