Candy and Baker
Candy is a 6 year old mare, and Baker is her 3 month old colt. Baker is by a bay and white very heavy, larger stallion. Candy has great English and Irish bloodlines. She's produced a couple of very nice foals in the past couple years, and Baker is one of those. He's really built! And you couldn't have drawn his markings on any better, he's really neat. Candy is built very nicely, and has a good amount of fine, silky hair. She's a great broodmare, and out-produces herself every time. She's about 14.2 hands tall. I had been told before that Candy was in foal to the same stallion that produced Baker. After doing a bit more digging, I found out that she was in foal to her breeder's new stallion. The sire of Baker died in an accident right around the time he was born. The owner used his other stallion to cover the rest of the mares left to breed that season. There is a picture of the sire to her 2003 foal below. (She's one of "Jims")
Candy has been started in harness, and is ready for finishing. She can be worked under saddle before leaving for her new home.
Candy: $14,000 SOLD
- Baker:
SOLD
Candy is getting too close to foaling now (March 7, 2003), so she will
have to wait to be sold until after she foals. She's due around the end of
March. After foaling, Candy will be available for sale, but the price may
go up depending upon what kind of foal she has, and if we breed her back to one
of our stallions.
We liked Candy and Baker so much that we decided to bring them over on the July flight. Baker is sold, but Candy is available to be viewed at our farm in Colorado until she sells.

Meet Baker, the boy that bought he and his mom a plane ticket. This boy is something, and will really make his mark in the gypsy horse world in North America. We knew he needed to be in North America when we first laid eyes on him. You can see by his pictures that everything is in the right place on this colt! And what a personality. He's a lap horse, and has a great sense of humor. What a cutie! And SWEET SWEET SWEET! We can't WAIT to see this boy as a stallion.

WOW, I like this colt! And having a mare that can produce something like this is a real asset.
Stallion Candy is in
foal to for a 2003 foal:

He's a black horse, but he's out of Jim's "Rose" line.
Very well bred, very well built, and tons of hair (it's caked with mud dreads in
the picture). This horse has a fabulous, quiet temperament.
