CONNER

5 year old mare in foal

Conner is 14.1- 2 hands and 5 years old.   She is in foal to Jim's stallion for a May foal.  She's very heavy in foal in the pictures, so looks rounder than usual, but that is to be expected!  She's very heavy in hair and bone, and has beautiful, clean legs.  Her left eye has a bit of blue in the front of it, but is mostly dark.  Her blood is the best, she is by the famous gypsy horse stallion called "Harry Conners".  This mare is very dear to Jim, her conformation is nearly perfect (again, you have to look around that HUGE belly!).  Her price, thru both mare quarantines, is reduced: $18,000

The price on Conner is reduced because she doesn't have a foal on her at this time.  Her colt foal is doing just fine, but he and his mother got separated by a gate that got closed on them out in a massive pasture when the colt was a few days old.  By the time it was discovered that one of the mares had 2 foals on her (the baby found another mother with her own foal that would accept him!), Conner had forgotten all about her baby :(  It was about a week later!  Conner is a good mother, has had 2 other foals that had been fine.  She's back in foal to Jim's good stallion for 2003.
