3 year old cute driving gelding
Here's a neat guy, that is well on the way to 15 hands tall. He's a 3 year old, and is obviously going to be doing some filling out. He had been worked pretty hard for the week before these pictures were taken, and he's leaned down a good bit, but he'll put it back on when he gets a few days off to catch up on eating. He's about 14.3 hands now, and a real doll. He's the first in the pasture to greet you, and just follows like a puppy. When I was out in the field trying to sort out horses, several times I had a little nose gently nibbling at the back of my neck. Every time I turned around he was standing there, saying, "Hey, I'm the only one you need to be looking at". He followed me everywhere, and this was after we had just put him back in from a good work-out in harness! It's always so nice to see one that doesn't mind working, and even is asking for more when you put him away.
He's also a baby in harness, and can move like nobody can! He's a wonderful stepper indeed! He's traffic safe, and anybody can drive him. What a fun guy this one will be for someone! Whoever gets this boy will just adore him. Jeff and I have little saying about gypsy horses. They do this "thing" to people that just makes you have to love them, and take them home. (Jeff and I say that this is the true "gypsy magic", it's the horses themselves!) Unfortunately, this is the hardest part of our job, as we aren't immune to their alluring ways, and get "sucked in" whenever they do this "thing". Jeff and I really have to work hard not to take ones like this guy home, but what is a gelding going to do for our breeding program??? :>) So, this is one for the taking, even though I adored him... This guy will be your best friend and your hardest working partner all in one.
UPDATE, June 18, 2003 - Dino is currently being worked under saddle and is going beautifully. This is the perfect ride and drive package!
PS, he's got a great shape to him, great clean bone and joints, and lots of wonderful, silky hair. He's young still, so he will fill out and have a wonderful body on top of those perfect legs.

driving. In the clip, the driver is trying to get him to move on well but
still stay collected. He needs practice at it (he's still young), but when
he works at it a bit, he will be an amazing show horse with great
movement. WOW.
