CHEW MILL GUINNESS

Sired by Galway Warrior and a Shire mare
16.3 hand 4 year old true Drum Horse Stallion
Imported to the US from England
by Black Forest Shires and Gypsy Horses.

Bred by Chew Mill Farm Shires, Garstang, UK

Guinness was the FIRST true drum horse stallion in North America, and is still only one of two true drum horse stallions in North America.  The second is his notable sire, Galway Warrior, who was imported into the US in July, 2002.  Galway Warrior  was once owned by Her Majesty The Queen and performed the duties of a drum horse in the Royal Processions, as well as his siring duties in the Royal Stud at Windsor.  Guinness' grandsire is the immortal Champion Shire Stallion, Edingale Mascot (18.3 hands, winner of the National Shire Horse Show on several occasions before export to the USA).  Guinness' dam is an SHS registered Shire mare.  Guinness is more than 3/4 shire horse, and GOOD shire horse at that!

Guinness has had an illustrious show career, winning halter classes throughout the UK, defeating horses of all breeds and ages.  As only a 4 year old, Guinness is not finished filling out and developing.  He will be a massive horse when he's finished, but with beautifully clean legs and joints, and with the highest quality, bone that you will find on any breed of horse.

This stallion has wonderful movement, and a disposition that can't be beat.  He is a big puppy dog, and just loves attention.  He also is nearly unflappable, you can go down the busiest road in the city with him, and he just does what he's told.  He's joy to be around.

Guinness gets poked and prodded in his BSPA inspection.  He passed with flying colors, and we were all repeatedly commended on his quality and disposition.  "No, he's not for sale" was a popular saying that day!

ACTION and EXTENSION, all in one.  By the way, he's barefoot!

These pictures were from 2001, when Guinness was a 3 year old, just after being broken to ride.
He has always had natural collection and extension!

Proud to be one of the BSPA chosen few!
