Coming 2 year old filly
This gal is just beautiful. A body that would win ribbons in the show ring, and bone and plenty of the right kind of silky hair. She's going to be amazing when she grows up. What a beauty indeed, and with nice bloodlines behind her. She's over 14 hands now, at 2 years old, so will make 14.2 to 15 hands I would say. This is a NEAT filly, that really catches eyes. Her sire is "Chief", from the SD farm, and her mother is "The Honey Mare" (below).
Price: $14,750 (Through NY quarantine) before she turns 2 years old or foals (she might be in foal to the young stallion called "Jack") After she is 2 years old, the seller is going to up the price on her (and the other mares and fillies from this farm).
UPDATED PICTURES, taken May, 2003. Lucy looks even better than before! I have always liked this filly, and like her even more after seeing her in May. This is one of the nicest red and white fillies I have seen. She's just gorgeous. I wish I had pictures to do her justice. Trust me on this one, even though she's not perfect in the pictures, this is one NICE filly, and whoever gets her will be so thrilled. If you are looking for something well bred, and a horse of a different color, this gal is a real gem. She's almost 2, so this is the chance to get her for much cheaper without the additional quarantine and higher price from the owner! If not in foal for 2003, she will be for 2004, as she's out with the stallion now. The breeder thinks that she will foal in early, 2004.
