Poppy is a
neat gal! She's big, 15 or 15.1 hands. She's quiet as can be in
harness, while still being the nicest mover you will ever see in a mare.
She's been used as a "taxi" for a 76 year old man at the horse fairs
this season, and were able to get him to offer her to us when he was done
driving her at the fairs. This gal is a great using mare, for someone who
loves to drive and also wants to breed some nice foals as well. What a
great body and wonderful legs this mare has! She's got a lovely white mane
that hangs down past her shoulder. She's also got "ink spots",
which means that she may be homozygous for the pinto pattern (will only breed
colored foals no matter what she is bred to).
She's being bred for a 2004 foal to the horse "Shogunner". Price
thru both mare quarantines: $16,000
