Fabulous 6 year
old big mare
Here's a really nice, and incredibly well bred 6 year old mare. She's got horses like "The Long Mane Mare" on the one side, and the Old Paddy horse on the other side. She's a nice size, 15.1 hands tall, very big for a well bred traditional gypsy cob, and has tons of the right kind of silky, clean feather, put onto halter-class legs. She's got a body that won't quit as well. Look at that nice backside (I'm a sucker for a good behind :>) This gal's mane was cut several months ago because it was full of burrs and dreads. It's growing back nice and thick and full now, and will return to it's previous state, of being down below her shoulder soon. Tammy is confirmed in foal for a June, 2004 foal to the awesome "Shogunner". This should be one Super QUALITY foal!
Tammy is one of the nicest bigger,
yet still traditional cob, mares in England, and
you won't find better blood anywhere. Her hair (feather) is pure silk, and
she is so nice-legged that she, even after months on pasture without any
particular care, is so clean in the feather that you would think that she were
washed up every day. This one is one of the best mares you will get for
the money if you are looking for larger, over 15 hand stock. I have been
to about 5 of the largest horse fairs this season, and I never saw any of the
top-selling mares that were anywhere near as nice as this gal.

Update, Sept 30, 2003.
Tammy has been in riding training, and is doing superbly! She's elegant in
the arena, and is supple and responsive. The trainers just love her.
This gal is a class act all the way, a real show stopper. Every step she
takes just exudes presence and beauty. She's really neat to watch.
The new pictures were taken Sept 25, 2003. Tammy carries herself just
beautifully. You will also notice in the new pictures that her mane is
growing back fast as well. It's a good 3 inches longer than in the last
pictures, and they were taken about 3 months apart. It's growing an inch a
month!!! It will be back to it's previous fullness and beauty in no time!

Tammy was still on the lunge line for breaking in when these pictures were
taken. She's off the line now, and doing just fabulously. Her
trainers report that she is fast learning and so willing. Her training has
been a piece of cake! She will continue working under saddle until she
flies over.
Pictures taken June 12, 2003. This gal is finally all cleaned out and in a green field to live, so she's looking like the incredible mare that she is! I can't fault her conformation, THIS is what a gypsy horse is supposed to look like! She's awesome!
