Treasure
3 year old 14.2 hand mare NICE, NICE, NICE!!!!!

This one is cream of the crop, top of the line.  The pictures really don't do her justice.  You won't find a better filly/mare, and it's hard to find her equal.  Anyone with this mare in the USA will have one of the top 10 gypsy mares outside of the British Isles.  Treasure, as I have called her, is just that, a real treasure.  She's one of the best bred mares in England, with the "Long Mane Mare" and the "Horseshoe Mare" being her close relations.  If someone is looking for top of the line, something along the lines of the mare Sovereign,  the filly Samantha, or Polly (Babydoll), this gal is in the head of that class.  She's exceptional, and stunning.  This gal will put someone on the map in the gypsy horse world.  The shape of this gal, with the nice, short back and exceptional neck, along with her incredible amounts of the right kind of silky feather, that starts in the front of the cannon bone just below the knee,  makes this one top-notch.  Highly recommended!  Treasure is in foal for a 2004 foal to the stallion "Shogunner"
You absolutely won't find a better mare.  If you spent a solid year at it, you might find a mare AS good, but you won't find one better!

This gal was the clear class winner of the day, and her day included the amazing mares of Tess and Tammy (who are her sisters).  When I met Treasure, our good friend "Jim" took me to a field of one of the top breeders in England.  This man has some of the best horses anywhere, and everyone knows it.  The owner/breeder couldn't be there that day, but told "Jim" to take us out to have a look around anyway.  Since we had permission to see horses that aren't often seen, "Jim" brought another gypsy breeder friend with him.  This field was amazing, it included horses that I had only heard about in stories, like "The Angel Mare", "The Long Mane Mare", "The Gikes Mare", and other legendary horses.  Many of them were quite old, but it was still apparent why they had the amazing reputations that they have earned over the years.  We entered the field, and from across the 50-ish acre field I spotted Treasure.    Suddenly the 20 other horses in the field just disappeared from my view.   I quickly made a "B Line" for her, as I had to get a closer look, to see if what I though I saw was true.  What a mare!  Her amazing relatives had done their job, and produced this phenomenal gal.  In front of his friend, (the other gypsy breeder) my friend "Jim" was actually quite proud that a I, "lowly American gal" could pick out the best in the field just that fast.  He had taught me well.   Both breeders agreed, she's a winner.  One of them tried to buy her for himself, but that wasn't to be.  Now I am quite proud to be able to offer her up to the American public.

Price thru both mare quarantines:  $24,000.

Wow, look at that shoulder and back!  You won't find better.

Look at that flowing straight silky hair.  This is exactly what the gypsies are breeding for these days!

This is an old picture from the winter, where Treasure was introducing herself to her new niece.  She's muddy and a mess in the picture, but you can see how wonderfully heavy she is.  This shows her sweet and gentle nature as well, she's a real sweetie.
